Hi, My name is Farhan Rahman
For my Senior Research Project this year, I will be working with the SAE Mini Baja team at the Arizona State University Polytechnic Campus in order to develop and test a car for the endurance races in April, May, and June. In endurance races, the car has to be able to withstand forces caused by the car's parts as well as external forces from the off-road race track, all the while trying to finish first in the race. The focus of my project is to look at the different considerations and parts needed in order to successfully build and race the cars in the endurance races.

ReplyDeleteIt seems like a few other people are also working with ASU on the Baja team, like Jared, Nassim, and Arkesh. Would you be working with them, or are they not in the same area as you are?

DeleteJared's working on the business side of the car, so we don't see him often. Arkesh, Nassim, and I generally work together, but sometimes we don't work on the same days.
